Dr. Harry Gibson

Senior Business Analyst (Malaria/Geospatial Data) Team: ROAD-MAP


Harry is MAP's Senior Business Analyst for Malariometric & Geospatial Data. Part of the ROAD-MAP team, he leads MAP's coordinated data-gathering activities.

He also leads the development, processing, and dissemination of MAP'S large spatio-temporal grid covariate datasets.

He has a computer science background and a PhD in Environmental Science. Since then he has worked as a GIS developer in the environmental sector, managing the spatial data component of the UK’s National River Flow Archive and, more recently, developing advanced automated GIS processing workflows for preparing the inputs to flood risk models used in producing the National Flood Risk Assessment.
